Text editors

I recently updated to 1.8 and thought I could use the Lang drop-down to markup multilang content without going into source [<>]. But it didn't work. I see in the source that the inserted lang span doesn't include the "class=multilang" which is needed.

If it isn't targeted for multilang markup, what is the purpose?

If it is targeted for multilang markup, it must be changed!

After posting this I noticed that the HTML editor here (=1.9+?) seems to include the "class=multilang", so I guess this is something that has been fixed after 1.8. Is there any patch for that?
