I've used the Book module (in Moodle 1.8.3) to present a text to students, but the width of the right-hand column which contains the text has shrunk to approx 4/5 of its original size (gif screenshot attached). So now there is white space between the table of contents and text - which is kind of annoying to say the least.
I've tried switching themes to no affect, new 'books' that I add now all have the same odd layout. Changing the format of the table of contents in the left-hand content have no effect.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
I believe this discussion has the answer to your question.
Solved the problem!
There seemed to be a few suggestions in that other thread, but the following solution presented by Daniel Schimrik worked for me!
I tried to fix it in another way, by overriding standard-theme style_layout.css by my own theme-setting:
.boxwidthwide {
width: 95%
}
