We're looking at using Feedback for anonymous course evaluations. We've placed some hidden feedbacks on the front page, and mapped them to some courses.
We'd like to accomplish 2 things:
- If we have a feedback on the front page that is mapped to a course, we don't want the teacher in that course to be able to edit the feedback or view the results.
- We want to allow department or program administrators to view and edit the feedbacks on the front page, and to see results. We have created a new role Course Evaluation Adminstrators, which is a duplicate of the authenticated user role with permission to view hidden activities and manage feedbacks. We've assigned some users to this role in the front page context, and they can see the feedbacks, edit them, etc. What we'd really like to do is to give these users permission to manage individual feedbacks instead of all of them.
I'm thinking that both issues could be handled by assigning and overriding roles in the feedback activity context. However, we don't seem to be able to assign a role in the Activity Module context if the feedback is on the front page. The assign roles page returns '0 Potential Users'.
Any ideas for resolving these?
