Is this kind of feature on the roadmap for the wiki plugin ? I am using media wiki as we speak, but maintaining 2 different codebases (mediawiki and moodle) is becoming quite a bit of work. I was looking into this wiki extension and it looks real nice, but is based on erfurt, so I have to move all my content. If this is a one time move, I can live with it, but I am really missing the 'thumbnail' function of mediawiki.
so I'm asking, is it on the roadmap ? If not, I have knowlegde of PHP, is it desired that I program such a feature as an erfurt plugin , wich gets included in the moodle plugin ? Or what is the way to do this ?
Yes, I can. But an example can illustrate it better I think. As you can see here : http://www.ksgwl.be/wiki/index.php/Scheppers_-_Sint-Jozef I added images with the thumbnail tag. This ismage gets thumbnailed (cached) so I don't have to resize it before I upload it. this way I don't have to install an image resizing package wherever I go. I can also define if it has to be left or right aligned.
