How do I get students to be able to add blocks to the tags page?

There is a capbalitity that says 'can edit blocks on tag pages' but students don't seem to be able to add blocks. Does it mean 'can alter contents of blocks' rather than 'can add blocks'?

Hi Matt,

I haven't haven't had chance to test things myself, but I would guess that you need to allow the capability moodle/tag:editblocks for the authenticated user role, rather than the student role. Please provide feedback on how you get on.

PS. For the benefit of anyone else reading this discussion, please note that the capability moodle/tag:editblocks is in Moodle 1.9 onwards.

Thanks Helen, that worked. Students can turn editing on on the tag pages now and add blocks.
