Hi all.
I am currently using 1.7.1. which shows the following roles: Guest, Student, Non-editing teacher, teacher and admin.
I have a few forums on the front page for general use (say Forum A, Forum B... ). How do I tweak permissions such that:
1) All users who are logged in are able to view and reply but not Add a new discussion in Forum A
2) All users logged in are able to view,add and reply in Forum B
3) All users logged in cannot view Forum C.
I have tried all possible settings, nothing has worked. I am yet to upgrade to higher versions, where I believe these issues are addressed easily. Any light on teh matter?
