Hi,
When I add comments/grades to students work in the feedback of the assignment module some of the students feedback comments do not display and their marks remain as "no grade".
When I click "grade" on the right the comments/grades have been stored in the database and display - but they won't go through to the quick grade or their gradebook.
It happens on random students (about 3 in 25).
I don't know which version of moodle it is, but suspect 1.8 as there is a bug in the gradebook that means I can't separate groups (which I know is a 1.8 bug).
Does anyone know what is causing this bug and what the fix is? (I can't upgrade moodle, but if it is an acknowledged as a bug with solution then I might be able to get the people that do it to have a go).

have just noticed that I'm not the only one with this problem.
Someone suggested before that you can solve it by clicking "status" when you are looking at all the submissions. This fixes things when you're looking at all the submissions in the marking/feedback area.
However, the marks still don't go to the gradebook for those students.
Does anyone have any solutions for that?
