Databases: Delete users in bulk

Is there any way to delete users from my moodle site.

I know one way: The GUI via admin, users, edit, then click delete one by one.

I don't have shell access to my server, so I can't use tools that need access to the server keyboard or screen. I do have an admin account. Moodle version is 1.4 , old I know.

Any ideas?

Thanks, joe

Greetings, Joe!

There is this post

But I think you need server access to install the script provided. There is supposed to be a new feature enabling bulk actions in Moodle 1.9! I am sorry that none of this will probably help you in your situation.

Maybe someone who used 1.4 will remember something!

Did this ever get into 1.9? If so, where?
