Help please, I have tried to limit some of the course creator and teacher settings to stop them being able to load up new courses by recovering cd baed backups.
The result is teachers cannot see the course with a report 'this course is not open to enrolement' which is set not to allow enrolement but they are already enroled as teacher or course creator.
Creating new teachers and giving access is no problem. How can I give current teachers the same rights as newly created teachers? Putting back to inherit does not remove the deny. I assume I have to click allow. Is there any way of getting back and applying the default settings. I think the more I fiddle the worse it is. A friends site 1.8.2 has a reset or restore button on the page.
