Good afternoon to all...
Here is the issue I having.... I have a few teachers that are trying to use the chat feature this year and are having a refresh trouble for a lack of a better term. Each person can only send one message in a chat. The next time you type in a message and press return, nothing will happen. You have to close the chat window and open it back up, then you can send one more message. Kind of a pain really. The interesting part is that when you view the session later, all the text is there, so it is adding stuff to the current session every time they go back in.
We are running moodle 1.7+ with php 4.3.11 and mysql 4.1.18 on an OS X 10.4.5 box.
Any thoughts??
Just to answer my own question.... I updated to 1.7.2 and the chats works as they should now.
I'm having the same problem with version 1.8.2
Same here. I have been trying to use the moodle chatd.php (chat daemon) with php5. Still no luck. Waiting to see what someone could recommend.
