Why does my WYSIWYG editor seem to turn itself on and off? How do my students use the editor all the time and not the html page? Is there a button to toggle some where that I missed? I am running 1.8.2.
If you want students to be able to turn the editor off and use a simple form, have them go to their profile page and select "Use standard Web forms" from the "When editing text" menu (under advanced options ).
The admin can also turn off the HTML editor at site level: site Administration -> Appearance -> HTML editor -> uncheck "Use HTML editor"
