Glossary - students can't edit their own entires.

Hi,

I'm loving the niche that the glossary has taken in my middle school German Class - students earn extra participation credits for making glossary entries on the vocab we cover.

I rate the entries & overrode the student role, so that all students can view the entry (to help judge it's reliability) -- I want students to be able to read comments on their work & make changes, as I go through, I will re-rate the glossary from time to time as entries are improved.

Right now my students can post an entry, and commenting is working fine, but they can't get back in to edit an entry. I'm wondering if I did something.

**Students also don't see a [reply] button in forum posts.

Did I screw something up?

Hmm . . . good question . . .

This was a while ago. I think that it was somewhere in the Role settings for the course that students could not edit a glossary. I could be wrong.

I did play around for a while with it. I know there is a setting - under the roles assignemnets for forums. edit own entries must be allowed. Try that if you can.
