When I selected "Tags" on the pull-down menu in the Blocks box, the adding box disappeared even with the "footer.php" contents. And I can't get it back at all.
How do we get the "blocks adding box" and "footer.php" back?
Please help me!
I have the same problem although I use the latest version and tried 1.8.2. as well, same problem.

I removed some 3rd party mopules and problem was solved!
