I've been trying to insert tables into my courses. When I build the table in the "new web page" field, it looks like a table (complete with horizontal and vertical lines along the edges and inside the table, marking the cells. However, when I view the table from the course, the only lines that are visible are the ones on the outside of the table -- there's no demarkation (except the included text) among the cells. I've seen fully-defined tables in other Moodle sited, but can't get mine to look that way.
I've had a similar problem while working in Excel -- then, I'd remember to turn on the "gridlines". However, I can't find any place to format the table in Moodle -- except for the "Border thickness", "Cellspacing" and "Cellpadding" options when selecting the "inster table" tool. I'm not sure what "Cellspacing" and "Cellpadding" are, but using different values in those fields doesn't seem to help.
Anyone know how to make a table look like a table with the rows and columns marked out?
