In my installation of Moodle I have a problem with the TeX-Filter.

$$${[(p}\rightarrow{q)}\wedge\neg{q]}\rightarrow\neg{p}$$$

produces a strange result:

$${[(p}\rightarrow{q)}\wedge\neg{q]}\rightarrow\neg{p}$$

The wedge is too big.

It is even bigger than the big one used in

$$${[(p}\rightarrow{q)}\bigwedge\neg{q]}\rightarrow\neg{p}$$$

$${[(p}\rightarrow{q)}\bigwedge\neg{q]}\rightarrow\neg{p}$$

If the result can be reproduced here, then there seems to be a general problem in producing logic formulas.

Apparently the result could not be reproduced, so that the cause may lie in my installation of Moodle.

Helmut, i´m not sure, must the formula looks like the image i attach? It´s a original picture from a tex graphic from one of our server.

Andy, if the formula on your server looks like the image, then your server has the same problem as my server. Helmut
