Creating Bi-Weekly sessions for a course

Creating Bi-Weekly sessions for a course

I am creating a course that last for 13 weeks and meets twice a week.  Instead of breaking up that one week with "labels" to define the first and second class meeting, I would much prefer if I could say that the class meets twice a week and the administrative settings would adjust it.

Is there any way to do this in Moodle 1.8?  I was a little suprised to discover this because often times syllabi for courses have different assignments twice or three times a week for separate class meetings.

Thank you in advance for advice.

I would very much like to know the same thing. I'm thinking I could use the topics format instead, but then I'd have to manually enter a lot of dates.

Surely someone has done this as certainly at the MS/HS level many courses meet multiple times per week. At the college level this is still true.

Thanks in advance for help.

I am having an issue which may have a similar reply.  How can I skip weeks/change weeks manually for vacations or some 2-week sessions?
