Is it possible to network Moodles on the same machine?

I have a number of Moodle sites running on the same machine (ie, same IP address). Is there anyway to make them peers using Moodle Networking.

Adding the IP address doesn't make a great deal of sense as they are all the same.

have you tried adding the name of the directory after the ip address?
eg: 127.0.0.1\moodle1 and 127.0.01\moodle2

Also remember to specify two different Cookie prefixes (in Site Admin -> Server --> Session handling) if you install two moodles on the same hostname
