I am having a bit of a problem. When I add a resource, with the follow up screens, I am directed to the login page.
I login again and then the next page says:
'No action was specfied'
Nothing gets added, the loop continues.
Apache 1.3.23 (Mandrake Linux/4mdk)
Anyone with similar problems? suggestions?
Much thanks in advance,
My server in behind a firewall and I have the proxies in place on the firewall. Almost all of the information transfers well.
When I try to access from the Internet, trying to submit a change or add a new resource, for example, it directs me to the intranet IP address (192.168.xx.xx). Obviously, I cannot connect.
On the intranet, I am directed to the login page.
The attempt to connect to the internal IP only occurs with 'Save Changes'.
Anyone else having the same problem?
I too get a similar error. When adding a resource, I get the message:
"This script was called incorrectly"
With the ability to click "continue" which takes me back to the root.
I've tried changing permissions on various folders in the "\classdata" directory. I've tried deleting the numbered directories and recreating them with "777" permissions.
Seems like a number of people are having this problem. Earlier someone else described a similar problem and cited that adding a directory to the correct location solved his problem but, he didn't say what directory he added and where he added it.
I brought up this thread and I realized it was an installation problem.
I don't know if this will help, but here is the discussion:
In short, it was an Apache configuration on my server inside my firewall. I am note sure if this applies to your situation.
I made the modifications that you made but, it didn't seem to work for me.
I turned on debug mode. Now when adding a resource, I get this error:
Warning: Undefined variable: destination in /(path to moodle)/mod/resource/details.php on line 10
The script was called incorrectly
So, I look at the "details.php" code and found this:
|if ($form = data_submitted($destination))|
Now, I'm at a loss. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm at the point of giving up and reinstalling one of the nightlies, in hopes that whatever server/db/script combo that is creating this problem will be fixed.
$CFG->buggy_referer = true;
Not sure. Unless there is a painful and obvious variable that I've missed, I think that I will reinstall anyway just to make sure that I didn't rush through and miss anything obvious. Since there is no classdata and I have time to prepare the installation properly.
Don't know why, but I'm runnign in the same problem with my testserver, using 1.4 dev.
I can't create a resource with an uploaded file.
It does work when I first set up a resource using an other option, save it, edit it and change it then to an uploaded file.
