Hi everybody,
I am working on the project which will be used to educate US retailers how to sell tobacco products responsively.
On of the requirements is to have a mechanism to recover password of users who does not have email. I know that is sounds weird but I can do nothing but follow this requirement.
I have created a set of pages which allow one to reset password to the default one. After user logs in with a standard password he/she has to change it to a new one by following "Change password" link from the "Administration" box.
Here are two problems I faced during implementation process:
1. In order to get to the "Administration" box user has to go to the "Course" window which may be a little confusing for the most of intended users. Is there any (easy - via configuration) way to place "Administration" box on the first post-login page?
2. When I tried to change password by clicking "Change password" link the "No such course!" was generated. It tells me that user can not exist independently from course. If this assumption is correct then the question is - What is the idea behind this approach and is it possible to independent from course users?
I am playing with moodle for the last 3 days and I do think that this is great software and good job.
I appreciate any ideas/comments on the above problems.
