Backup and restore

Hello all!

I posted this to the general forum and didn't get any action there, so I thought I would try a repost to this forum.

We are in the process of combining two Moodle servers into one. To do this, we are backing up on one server and then restoring each course on the permanent server. I just tried this with the first course to move and none of the user's profile information (i.e. description, picture, blogs, etc.) moved to the new server. I also tried restoring the course from the regularly scheduled server backup, which, from what I can tell, is set to include user information, but with the same negative results.

One item that might be contributing is that both servers are using LDAP authentication.

Any ideas on how I can get the User Profiles to move across?
