Restricting access to files using DOOR

Hi there,

I've got DOOR 1.6.1 working on my server, but I was hoping that the directory containing uploaded files would not be accessible from the web except by authenticated users (like the moodledata directory).

If I put the directory outside of public_html DOOR can't find it when a user requests access to the file.

Am I trying to achieve something that isn't yet possible?

Thanks Mauro,

I suppose one way around this would be to have a single Moodle course that holds all the resources, and then use DOOR to create a searchable, tagged repository of links to those resources?
