UPDATE: It turns out that my forum and glossary activities are in my gradebook after all. HOWEVER, they don't appear on the "Set Categories" Tab. This means that I can't set their categories or weights. It also explains why they weren't showing up in the gradebook... I had the uncategorized activities set to "hidden".
Any idea why the gradebook doesn't want me to categorize my forum or glossary activities? ;-(
