I have copied the source of Moodle 1.8.2 to a new directory, and also copied the source of the new feedback module to that directory. I then logged in as the admin user and went to ./admin to upgrade the database. Only the feedback table was indicated to be upgraded, and after that the other tables were not apgraded.
I now sit with the source code of 1.8.2 for my Moodle, but Moodle still says that it is version 1.8.1 when I go to admin, so the tables have not been upgraded.
I suspect that having copied the feedback module to the source code before I logged in and went to admin to upgrade the tables causes the problems.
1) Is that the problem?
2) How do I now upgrade my other tables to 1.8.2? When I go to admin it does not automatically start the upgrade process any more - it started it the first time, but upgraded only Feedback.
Thanks
Mariana

Hi Mariana,
sorry, I can not say what there is gone wrong. Can you tell me more infos to the installation (linux/windows, php4/5 and so on)? Perhaps there is an other module that goes wrong with moodle-upgrade.

php Version 4.3.0 ist erforderlich - aktuell ist 5.2.2.1 installiert. OK
php_extension iconv sollte installiert und aktiviert sein. OK
php_extension mbstring sollte installiert und aktiviert sein. OK

Re: Feedback and upgrade to 1.8.2
Hello Andreas
Has there been any new information on this issue? I still sit with a Moodle that says its Moodle 1.8.1 instead of Moodle 1.8.2, and have no idea how to change that.
Thanks
Mariana

Hi Mariana,
I'm sorry, I don't know what is going wrong on your upgrade. I think the feedback is not related to this problem. You can try to recover your installation with you backup and then try again the update.
