Nice to see you here Vichika!
We have no doubt about how great Moodle translation GUI was.
As you can see, you have spent almost a year to work with Moodle and as the result of the conversion tool I mentioned earlier, we found out that about 831 of 8100 strings (Moodle 1.8.2) have been translated so far. I understand very well about volunteer stuff that you do thing only when you are free.
At my working place, Open Institute, we have a team of about 4 people who are working on localization of Open Source Software such as OpenOffice, KDE and openSUSE. By having a proper translation processes and tools, we will be able to translate those 8000 strings (maybe more in Moodle 1.9) in only a couple of months.
Vichika, as you can see in my email to you, I am writing to ask you if we can take over all the works related to Moodle translation. We really appreciate all your efforts with Moodle but it would be very difficult to maintain one standard language for Khmer if both of us work on Moodle translation at the same time. And could you please quickly send your last translation to Moodle? I will then be able to merge your last translation with Moodle 1.9 and see how much work need to be done.
