Glossary

We would like to create a schoolwide glossary to which individuals and/or classes would contribute. I am not sure of the best way to do this on moodle. One way would seem to be to establish a class of which every member of the community is a participant. Each individual would then have a secondary glossary which would feed into the main glossary. Is this correct? Is there any way that a glossary from a class can feed into a schoolwide glossary? I would appreciate any ideas concerning this project.
