Hi everyone!

I'm wondering about deleting users. As years end, teachers move, students graduate etc...we all have users that no longer need nor want access to moodle.
It appears from the documentation that they cannot delete their account. They can unenroll and can be unenrolled automatically after a certain period of time.

Is there a problem with deleting them manually?. is there a better method?

What would be best practices for this?

I have 3 systems running (2 running 1.5x, 1 running 1.7) I hope to move them all to 1.8 before school starts.

Well Ken, apart from using a SQL command or making a change to the code I don't know of an easy way to do this. Users, AFAIK, must be deleted one by one in the current UI. Take a look at these threads for more info:
