Questionnaire & Feedback: Does the Export to Excel support UTF-8?

Does anyone know if the 'Export to Excel' / 'Download CSV' command of these modules supports UTF-8?

I can see the responses correctly on the 'view responses' page in moodle.

But when I export the data to Excel I get gibberish instead.

Any ideas?

Hi Yaniv,

the feedback currently converts the output from "thischarset", given at the langconfig.php of the current lang-setting, into the charset "windows-1252".

Hi Andreas,

Supporting UTF-8 would be great but I guess it's not so trivial.

Is it possible to make the target language selectable?

I think I need  "windows-1255" for Hebrew characters.

in the current version I tried to use the "localewincharset" from langconfig.php. Can you test it?
