Teacher's ONLY Forum v1.8

I am trying to create a forum that only the teachers can access.
I have set the forum to no subscriptions allowed, and I have subscribed two teachers to this group. However, when I sign on as a student I have access to the forum why!
Can anyone help me. I want to make a forum that only teachers (those who have the teachers roles) and or those who are subscribed by me to see and access this forum.
Any comment would be welcomed

Hi Albert,

The simplest way is to hide the forum. Teachers are able to view hidden course activities whereas students cannot.

I've just noticed that although this works for course creator & teacher, when I click on the 'hidden' teacher forum as admin it won't let me look inside it. Message shows up: "Sorry, this activity is hidden"

I am using Moodle 1.8.4 (2007021540)

Any ideas please?
