Running an older Moodle - Moodle 1.5.2 (2005060220) So maybe this is addressed in later versions.
I manage our moodle installation and run a scheduled backup each evening, keeping the last 10 versions of each course in our system. Under my admin settings, I seem to only have the ability to define how many backups to "keep" for the EVERY course in our system. Is there a way to change this?
Case in point.
For a current - active course, I would like a daily backup for the last 30 days (30 versions).
For an "old" archived course, I would like a single back-up (say the last time the course was touched).
As far as I can tell - I have to keep either 30 back-ups for both courses or 1 for both. Any way to change this?
NOTE: I ideally what I need is a way to have Moodle back-up a course each evening if (and only if) something in the course has changed. Having 20 back-up copies of the same exact course over 20 days is not good server space management.
