Add category to automatically created courses?

Add category to automatically created courses?

Has anyone modified the external database plugin that automatically creates courses so that it will accept the course category passed from the external database and use it during the course creation process?  Wow, that was a mouthful.

Yes, we have wink Not only category, but fullname, shortname, course ID number,course summary and course template. All but shortname are optional, by the way.
