After reading through Moodle Docs and this post by Glennys: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=57108#260500
I must admit I'm still baffled.
I'm trying to add a chain of 4 HotPot exercises to my v1.7 Moodle ( 3 Jmatch exes and 1 JCross) but Moodle doesn't seem to recognise my => link buttons. I have made sure that locally on my home computer the buttons work ok, I then zipped the whole lot up and copied it over on to my Moodle, unzipped and I thought once I'd used my Moodle course page to add the first quiz in the chain it'd be Hey Presto! but unfortunately it's not
Each time I complete the first part of the quiz, I'm taken back to my Moodle's course page, even though I'd asked Moodle to do a quiz "Chain." I've since tried using the update quiz chain "Yes" and "no" options, but neither have worked. I have enclosed a .jpg of my settings screen, have I made a mistake there?
I was going to try using Moodles "Use Hot Potatoes quiz navigation buttons" option, but they unfortunately don't let Moodle force media plugins (I'm having strange problems with HotPot generated media plugins too - but that's for another post)
Finally, I tried posting the first and the second HOtPot quiz directly to my Moodle's course page and now when I click on the first quiz, the quiz chain seems to work. Is this right? Do all the quizzes have to be uploaded individually to a course page for Moodle to recognise the chain? Is it possible to only upload one HotPot quiz and the chain be generated from that alone?
Many thanks in advance for any help or advice,
