Just a little thing, but similar to this discussion, you can now subscribe all users from the subscribers page of a forum.  You can also unsubscribe them.

In addition, that page is now group aware, so non-editing teachers in groups can edit subscriptions just for their group, and editing teachers can do it for any group independently.

Martin, thank you for this excellent enhancement!  big grin

so non-editing teachers in groups can edit subscriptions just for their group, and editing teachers can do it for any group independently

Can I clarify this?  Does this mean that a non-editing teacher can in general edit subscriptions?  If they have some limited editing priviledges, what are they exactly?

TIA, Tim.  smile  (Couldn't find the answer  in a forum search).

Non-editing teachers can't edit the main course structure, and they can't change actual activities, but they can edit anything within the activities, such as

  - forum discussions, posts, subscriptions, ratings
  - assignment feedback and grades
  - glossary entries

It's all a bit of a temporary thing until the proper Roles come along where these things can be defined.
