Deleting a forum

Is there a way to delete a forum? Im not sure if i am missing something as I have found it easy enough to delete a post and even a course but have seen no way to delete a forum.

Will,

Assuming you have the "rights" (teacher, admin) you can delete the entire forum by:

Turning the editing on (top right)
Clicking on the little "X" beside the forum you want to delete
Confirm your intention when prompted

If you want to delete only a specific posting in a forum:

Enter the forum
Choose the message
Click "delete" in the first message box
Confirm your intention when prompted

Hi Jeff,

I can do what you say to delete a forum in a course, but I have a forum that I created "a standard forum"' in general forums and I can't seem to find how to delete it. Could you explain?
