How do we show that a student has finished a class

I was wondering if you can tell me when a student has finished a course how do we get them off of our roster for being enrolled in that class do we have to unenroll them ?

A student can unenroll themselves at the end of the course, if you make that request.  If they do not do this, you must manually unenroll the student.  You can very easily unenroll students by clicking "Participants" in the People block area.  This view shows all enrolled students with an option unenrol.
