Problems uploading and revising pdfs in resource module

Can anyone help.  I am having problems with staff uploading resources to their courses in moodle and then making revisions locally but when they reupload the revised file moodle does not seem to display it.

Is this something to do with browser cache or server cache.

Jenn,

I can't duplicate this problem, revised files seem to overwrite an existing file in Moodle and display without difficulty.  Do you notice any patterns with particular types of resources they are uploading.  Also, what version of Moodle are you running?  Have you tried flushing browser cache to see if that makes any difference?

Yes i solved it that way.  It is actually a microsoft problem and all i needed to do was clear IE's cache which i did and all is working fine.  No problems with netscape.
