Hello,I'm working on moodle for a few months,I live in Iran and our language is persian or farsi,I have translated moodle to farsi and I have sent the files for moodle's site.when I started to translate moodle to farsi,it was difficult for me to find an efficient way for translating at last I chose to work with html entities because it seem to work,now I see that working with html entities(for example ٠ (for a singe character)) takes a lot of space and will produce problems in the future.Now I have chosen to work with utf-8.I edit php files in notepad and when I want to save the files I choose the utf-8 encoding because if I choose ANSI I will loose the persian characters,but in moodle when I see the pages the direction of text is wrong I mean instead of being rtl it is ltr I have chosen rtl in the configuration variables but this problem remains.
