I need to figure out how many users logged in to our Moodle site each day since school began in Aug 2006. I also need to know how many "hits" the site has had each day.
I see the daily hits at the top of the logs table (ex: Displaying 1141 records) when I select the date but I don't want to have to do that for every day since August. (Stats reports have never worked on this site. It either says its in catch up mode or that there is no available data.)
Is there an easier way (using phpMyAdmin??) that I can get this information? How would I write the sql statement to get a count of the daily logins and the total number of records in the log table for each day?
