How to Verify Teacher Participation

Good Morning,

We are using Moodle to take courses on line and we need to be able to verify to a third party (regulatory) that the person who is listed as teaching the course is actually doing the teaching.

I don't know if the solution is in Moodle (I hope so), but does anyone have experience with this type of issue, or any suggestions on how this could be done.

I am not sure that I completely understand what you envision as a solution but I would think that you could just pull up the access logs (Reports) for that instructor in that course. The reports would give details about how often a person logged in, which parts of the class they visited, whether they were just in view mode or whether they made a change (add, update, delete) to that component of the course.

Another option is to view the instructor's profile and then select the "Activity Report" tab. Some views of the activity report even provide a graph showing the number of hits each day.
