I think this is easily one of the best modules in Moodle - perhaps the best. However, I have some questions about it...
I just noticed some students had added entries to my site glossary several days ago and I hadn't noticed.
I wonder if it would be possible for the teacher to be emailed when a student adds an entry to a glossary in which they have to be approved before they become part of this list...
Alternatively, could this be shown on the recent activity screen to the teacher/admin so that he is alerted to the fact that there are new entries pending?
Some other small issues:
- When I edit an entry that is pending, it is automatically accepted, even though I haven't clicked on the "tick" approval link. I'd lke to be able to edit the entry and then review it again before I decide to approve it, as I might have a second change to make (not often, but soemtimes).
- Also, when I edit an entry and click "save" the next screen shows that entry only with the "browse by alphabet" link inactive. Then if one wants to browse the whole list by the alphabet, one has to click another browse link first (such as "browse by category") and then click "browse by alphabet". Would it be possible to change it so that the "browse by alphabet" link is still clickable after editing an entry?
- I just noticed that one entry had been duplicated even though I had set the glossary to "don't allow duplicate entries". Then I deleted one of them, but both of them disappeared! Has anyone else had this happen?
