Resource types

I have old moodle 1.71, recently I download 1.72. I install 1.72 connect it to my database which is used by 1.71, I copied the moodledata directory to 1.72, everything works fine.

Only upload file can not work, it always say no file found. If I go back 1.71, it works okay. I know it is the problem I copied the moodledata directory to 1.72. But how to fix it? I need all the data in moodledata directory, otherwise, all the files I uploaded before will be gone.

Please help, I am very frustrated at this point.
