I need to display a series of pictures aligned horizontally, and then I need to position a word below each picture. So these words will be on the same horizontal line but I need to customize spacing between them.
When I save the work, the words get bunched together on the left as if they were a sentence (picture attached). I've tried inserting   between words but the editor removes them.
Please help!

Ok,.. so no one knows how to do this??
Is there a better place to post this kind of question?
This seems like such a basic issue to me. Really it's the only thing keeping me from giving Moodle a serious try.

Which browser are you using? I have trouble with some browsers (Firefox) removing or changing things from the editor.
Also, a quick, easy fix for this is to use a table, that way you insert the image in a cell immediately below or above the corresponding text.

If you are looking to do something like below, just use a table.

Thanks Rob and Steve.
Rob, you were right - I was using Firefox and that was the reason the   weren't sticking.
Now both spacing and tables work. Thanks again!
