Seeking best way to import glossary entries using .xml file or other

I tried to use the .xls file script MoodleGlossaryPrepSheet.xls prepared by David Fountain to import vocabulary into a glossary. I am not having any luck. I get some kind of Basic bug ( I am not a programmer)when I run the built-in macro which converts the output to an .xml file; I also tried to use NeoOffice. Is this script a viable tool? What can I do to make this work? Is there a different tool I should be using to quickly create a glossary ? Adding entries via the glossary module is too tedious.

I've just been using it, and it ran beautifully, so I wouldn't give up just yet. I'm using Excel 2002. Maybe try another computer with a different Excel installation? Make sure you've turned security down to "low" to allow the macro to run.

Hi Chick
Can you describe the basic error message and I'll look at it, otherwise post me the spreadsheet and I'll try for you.
