The lesson module should be in Moddle v1.2.
I suspect your webdeveloper has installed the most recent stable version of Moodle v1.2.1.
Check out the PDF Teacher Manual file I noted in my post above. You should find instructions regarding the Lesson module there. Infact it is located at,
