I'm going to put my hands on moodle source code, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel!
In short, my needs are:
1. a new feature for the forum, aimed at support collaborative problem solving, something like http://fle3.uiah.fi/demo.html. There should be the possibility to associate to each post a label (for example: hypothesis, thesis, proposal, idea...). In this way the forum could be a shared space used by members to solve proposed problems.
2. a feature for creating classification of members in relation to the scores given by other members to their forum posts.
3. a method for classify forum posts based on the context. Whoever reads the post can classify it describing the context and giving a score too. In this way, it should be possible to implement an advanced search engine in which the results are ordered by the context and the scores received.
If someone has suggestions, I'd be very happy with it.
