In 1.6 Moodle, I was able to add a small icon after someone's name to indicate they were a teacher in the on line block. Now with context centered roles, I am wondering how to do this.
My primary goal is to show this icon only on the home page in the "on line" user block.
But I was wondering if I could attach an icon (16x16 px) based upon the group(s) they belonged to. Some groups would have them and some would not. For example, a teacher to a department group and a teacher's group, while each student might be assigned to a department with no icon showing their status as a student.
Appreciate somebody directing to a better place or telling me this is a big project. My guess is that Moodle set a role id as needed for context. So for my immediate need I could see which id was "teacher" and then play with the code in blocks as I did in 1.6 .
