Hi there,

we are working an a module to synchronise courses with an external lms.
we do have working code, but we changed the core-code. so now we are working on implementing this as a module.
but we need a similar functionality as the autosubscription to a forum. every time a new student enrols to our (synchronized) course, the module should automaticly send the info to the external lms.
can anybody tell me, how this force_subscription-functionality works for a forum??
i still don't know where and how the forum is informed about a new student. i still found some functions in /mod/forum/lib.php (like forum_forcesubscribe()) - but they seem to never be called.
