I am not having any real performance issues so far, but I do have a fast server to play with. My issue is if this has happened to a number of sites that have upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7, why hasn't it been treated as a bug or update?
Being loathe to start creating and deleting indexes on a functioning Moodle system I am very curious to find out more. When looking at the number of indexes I am supposed to add, are their names important (and it does seem I do not have the indexes listed in createmissingindexes.txt)? And why do I have a number of tables that when I look at their structure using phpMyAdmin I get stuff like:
mdl_choice_answers - PRIMARY and INDEX keys should not both be set for column `id`
Should I go through all the tables and just remove (seeming randomly) one of the entries to make the warnings go away? And just run the createmissingindexes.txt as a sql command file and hope my joins and whatever become happy again?
Any help would be appreciated!
