Scheduled backup will not copy files to network mounted drive

Hello Back & Restore experts,

I have a Moodle (1.61) pilot site running on Windows 2003 Server, Apache 2.2.3, PHP 5.1.6.

My problem is that if I specify a network mounted drive/path in the "Save to" box of the Backup Configuration screen, the scheduled backup will fail. I have tried various combinations of using forward and backslashes, but nothing seems to work.

Anybody got any ideas,

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for the ultra-quick reply John!

The problem only manifests itself if I enter a Network Path into the 'Save in' box. I have no problems running a scheduled backup to a local hard drive/path, or indeed as you suggest, leaving the schedule to backup to the default backup dir. However, once I enter a mapped network drive...Kaputt!...the backup process fails when tring to copy the Zipped backup file(s) to the final resting place.

Same issue here.  I think the problem relates to the account moodle is running under and permissions to access the mapped drive or unc path.  What account/credentials does moodle/apache run as?  Is it a system service?
