Hardware and performance

1.2.1 seems to be running slowly on an otherwise reliable server. I have six users and I'm using one text filter for the glossary feature, but only a handful of entries.

I am running the Lesson feature, and have three or four lessons going. The recent activities window seems to crawl while it grabs the info.

This is a recent update, and I know I had the option to select several features that would affect performance, like cache and the like. Any hints on what I should try to get this moving?
