Arghhh!
Updated according to directions and now get a multitude of these messages:
Warning: get_string_from_file(): Failed opening '/usr/www/users/bray/write4television/moodle/lang/en_us/moodle.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/www/users/bray/write4television/moodle/lib/moodlelib.php on line 1748
I have no idea what the heck is going on. Anybody out there who can help?

do you have the
/usr/www/users/bray/write4television/moodle/lang/en_us/moodle.php
file in your server. With read access?
If you change your language to "en" does the same problem persist?

Your post gave me a clue. I had deleted all lang files except en, but when I restored en_us the problem went away. Many thanks to you!
